About Eagles Lacrosse

Eagles Lacrosse serves as a developmental program for lacrosse, primarily for families in the ESD community. The organization was founded so that young lacrosse enthusiasts could learn the game before the age at which they can play on school teams. Eagles Lacrosse is an organization with a mission to teach and impart:

  • Skill Fundamentals
  • Rules of the Game
  • Sportsmanship
  • Appropriate Parental Guidance
  • Fair Play
  • Love of the game!

Our Programs serve boys and girls in the following grade brackets:

Fall Divisions

  • 1st and 2nd Grade (Boys only)
  • 2nd / 3rd / 4th Grade (Girls)
  • 3rd / 4th Grade (Boys)
  • 5th / 6th Grade (Boys and Girls)
  • 7th / 8th Grade (Boys and Girls)
  • High School (Boys and Girls)

Spring Divisions

  • 1st / 2nd Grade (Boys and Girls)
  • 3rd / 4th Grade (Boys and Girls)
  • 5th / 6th Grade (Boys and Girls)

In the Spring, Eagles Lacrosse serves players through the 6th grade; as older players play for school teams at this time of year.

For young players, coaches concentrate on basic ball handling and fundamentals. As players grow in age, size, maturity and interest our coaches use a defined curriculum which allows them to focus on age-appropriate skills. As players rise through the grade level teams and their skill level rises, the game naturally becomes more competitive.

Eagles Lacrosse is a non-profit, volunteer organization. Board members volunteer their time to run the organization. Also, each team has a volunteer Grade Level Administrator who oversees registration, assists the board in scheduling games and communicates with coaches, parents and players to name just a few of the duties! The organization does pay it's coaches. One of our top priorities is to find coaches with a deep knowledge of the game and demonstrated ability to excite and motivate young players, and to pay them fairly.

Parents are welcome to contact a current board member with questions or to get involved. Eagles Lacrosse always needs and appreciates volunteers!

Diversity and Inclusion Statement

Eagles Lacrosse is committed to creating, maintaining, and nurturing a diverse and inclusive environment which enables all players to reach their full potential on the field. We believe that diversity enhances the quality of the experience that Eagles Lacrosse provides and is essential to the development of well-rounded people. Eagles Lacrosse values diversity in all its forms, including but not limited to ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic background.

Parent/Spectator Code of Conduct

  • Parents shall refrain from using any abusive language before, during, or after the game
