About Eagles lacrosse

The Eagles Lacrosse organization was started in 2005 by a group of parents as a non-profit developmental organization to support the Episcopal School of Dallas community. Our mission is to provide the opportunity and structure for young athletes, boys and girls, to learn and play lacrosse in an environment that helps them develop their skills and foster a lifelong love of the game. Eagles Lacrosse is part of the ESD Sports Fellowship program to support Pre-K through 6th grade ESD students, ESD siblings, and ESD faculty children. Our goal is to provide:

  • Skill Fundamentals
  • Rules of the Game
  • Sportsmanship
  • Appropriate Parental Guidance
  • Fair Play
  • Love of the game!

Our Programs serve boys and girls in the following grade brackets:

Fall Divisions

  • Pre-K / Kinder / Primer (Boys and Girls)
  • 1st / 2nd Grade (Boys and Girls)
  • 3rd / 4th Grade (Boys and Girls)
  • 5th / 6th Grade (Boys and Girls)
  • 7th / 8th Grade (Boys and Girls)

Spring Divisions

  • Pre-K / Kinder / Primer (Boys and Girls)
  • 1st / 2nd Grade (Boys and Girls)
  • 3rd / 4th Grade (Boys and Girls)
  • 5th / 6th Grade (Boys and Girls)
  • **7th / 8th Grade are a school sport in the spring

Our fall program focuses on skills improvement and having a great experience. We organize some competitive scrimmages, in addition to the practice schedule. Our spring season combines practices and participation in local leagues for game competition.

New for Spring of 2024, we are offering an in-house league for Pre-K, Kinder, and Primer boys and girls. This will be a no equipment, no contact league to work on development of skills. This will be co-ed and be hosted at ESD. There will be a mix of co-ed and separate skills and competition to develop the interest in lacrosse at an early age in a controlled environment. Kinder and Primer boys and girls have the option of playing in house or with the 1/2 age group.

Coaches for Eagles Lacrosse are a mix of parent volunteers, paid coaches with high school, collegiate, and pro experience, and current high school players at ESD. If you are interested in coaching or know of anyone that would be great for the Eagles Lacrosse program, please let us know.
